This event profoundly affects Barabbas’s life, drawing him into an internal struggle. He gradually becomes overwhelmed by feelings of guilt, confusion, and a search for meaning in his own existence. Although Barabbas does not know Jesus personally, the shadow of Jesus and his death looms over Barabbas’s life.
